Shima Skate Manufacturing was the product of of one Brian Shima. The company (est. 2011) was ran out of Oakland California. The team consisted of a handful of insanely talented skaters with a metal vibe, outlandish stunts and unique style. It's easy to say this company was the product of passionate and aggressive legends.
The sport of Aggressive Inline Skating has been hit with a tough recession. Multiple skate companies are no longer with us, including this bad ass brand (RIP).
Brian Shima, founder,holds the record for most pro skates in the industry as well as winning first place in over a dozen contests.
Caribbean Express is located in Fayetteville, NC. This Caribbean inspired restaurant is a fast casual concept eatery offering freshly cooked Caribbean cuisine and beverages.
Family owned and established in 2016.
When the restaurant was about to launch, THAT Photography was hired to fly out to photograph the fresh dishes of this new establishment.

Founded in 2002 by Elon Musk, SpaceX is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company headquartered in Hawthorne, California.
SpaceX is actively working on launch missions. Keep up with their progress, it's amazing stuff! If you're a fan of their work, you may want to rock some SpaceX swag, that's where THAT Photography came in.
Product shoots for shirts, jackets, hoodies, mugs, iPhone cases and lots more. All shot flat style and clipped to be placed onto gradient backgrounds.
Occasionally, as new products were created for the SpaceX shop THAT Photography created banners for those new items.
Makey Makey allows you to turn everyday objects into touch pads and combine them with the internet, It's a simple invention kit for beginners and experts doing art, engineering and games.
Photographing such a complex product is a challenge! There are videos and tutorials for the product. This was a fun product packaging shoot for a local toy company in Portland OR.

Jewelry made from the tail hairs of the elephant has been made by native Africans. They believe wearing elephant hair jewelry brings good luck and protection. Safari Jewelry recreates the technique traditionally used to make these bracelets.
This jewelry is special! Safari Jewelry is based out of Santa Barbara, CA. The photography here was shot to maintain a consistent look and feel across the website which has since changed (to more of a solid white look and feel).
Capturing the detail of these pieces was a fun process in a paradise like city. The jewelry is timeless and totally different, definitely LOVE their stuff!

Carefully placing each piece in each shot, climbing onto a tall ladder and then clipping images. Then creating colored backgrounds to compliment the accent colors in each layout (raspberries, grapefruit and teal wrist wraps).
Avanti Markets utilizes groundbreaking technology to offer companies state-of-the-art 24 hour micro-markets, complete with touch screen kiosks to allow employees easy access to purchases without ever leaving their workplace.
Photographing the machines was done in the warehouse of Avanti Markets. The product photos of these large scale items in the space we had to work with was a shot, edited and delivered within 48 hours.
Regal is a pen supplier for ballpoint pens, fountain pens, roller pens, pen refill & custom pens. They have have been a pen supplier since 1979.
As more web sales continue to go up, more and more online stores are getting attention and new clients.
